Anyone in need of Batteries?

Radioshack has a great deal on batteries. A 40 pack for $9.99. Both AAA and AA are available but I would not wait to long, they were pretty limited at 8.30 this morning.

Christmas Brekky!

Tradition in the Edwards household is that we normally have something easy and quite yummy for Breakfast on Christmas morning. If anyone has ever had Butterbraids you would proberly agree with me that they are REALLY GOOD!

Gingerbread Houses!

Last Wednesday a few of us braved the snowy/ice roads to go to a friends house to make Gingerbread houses. The kids had a great time creating their own!!

Thanks to all for organized and hosted the event

"White Christmas"

Well the locals here know that we will be celebrating Christmas with a lot of white around us. For you that are far away, accross the Pacific I am so excited to be having this Christmas season in the snow.... I have found a new love with the snow, from the time it is falling to playing in inches and this time a foot of snow. So to all you those In Australia, I hope that you had a beautiful hot summer Christmas today and for the Locals I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas for tomorrow...

Computers are great sometimes

Tonight I received a call from a very good friend of mine back in Australia that I have not talked too for about 8 years. He found me on Facebook about a month ago. After all these years he remembered my parents home phone number, so he called them to get my phone number here. What a great surprise. Just shows that computers can be good for something!

Families are Forever!

This is the cake Harry surprised the family with after we were sealed.

Snowing in Oak Harbor

We woke up this morning to quite a few inches of snow. Of course the kids had no school so we enjoyed the snow quite early today. As I am typing this message, I look up the hill from my house and it's getting hard to see the houses up there.

Enjoy the Winter Wonderland It's great!!!!

Taylor being Silly

Taylor likes to write little messages quite often.
This is the one I found under her cereal bowl the other day.

It's the bananna againt the strawberry, and they are off! The bananna is well in front of the strawberry. No the strawberry made a remarkable recovery. The strawberry wins 1st prize, a trip to my mouth. Yummy in my tummy especially "Oat Boats" It would make me feel better if I was sick.

Crazy girl, but I did think it was cute

"The Dark Knight"

I watched "The Dark Knight" this afternoon. Very good movie. Has anyone else seen it and if so what did you think?

Where did the last month and a half go!

I was out doing my visiting teaching last week and my companion reminded me that I have not blogged in a while...... so here goes!

This November will ever be a blessed memory for us. After having family in from Nampa for Thanksgiving, they and some wonderful friends joined us at Seattle Temple to witness Harry and I been sealed to our children for all time and enternity. It was a such a wonderful experience. 5 days later Harry's family left and our house somewhat got back to normal(if that is possible at all) It has been busy with Christmas parties, work, and trying to get ready for Christmas. I have had a hard time this year getting ready. I am usually pretty organised with most of the shopping been done the 1st part of December, not this year.

Maybe next year, I will be better ORGANISED!!!!
