We just returned from our almost 3 week vacation to Utah for a family reunion and camping at Yellowstone. Of Course along the way we had to stop at the open house for the new Twin falls Temple. This was my first time going through a temple. I could not believe how beautiful the Lord's house truly is.
In Logan, UT where my husband was born and his grandparents still live was our resting stop for about a week. While here we got to see 2 sisters that will always have a special place in our heart. For those reading from church you may remember Sister Manchan and Sister Anderson. Well Sister Anderson lives in Logan and Sister Manchan was visting her. It was great to spend some time with them. Also while in Utah we spent a couple of days down at Temple square. Logan was the location of the family reunion on the Edwards side. Lots of them.....
Yellowstone here we come. Harry's grandparents on his mums side came with us. We camped in the park for 6 days. This was my first time to Yellowstone and I can happily say it will not be my last. We have already started talking about returning in a couple of years. It was truly amazing. The wildlife we saw was incredible. We covered most of the park except Fishing Bridge which the roads to there were closed to an incredible forest fire that pretty much started minutes before arriving at the point of the fire.
For the long ride home, we travelled up through Montanta where we stayed in Missoula for the night. Overall we drove just over three thousand miles and memories that we will have for a life time
